Mix of The Day: Cinthie / Beste Modus Radio Sessions Mix

This week’s EB On Atmosphere saw up and coming producer and DJ Cinthie drop by the FluxFM HQ to symbolize the young Beste Modus imprint and collective from east Berlin. If you’ve yet to partake of their wild label nights or get any of their vinyl-only releases (from members Diego Krause, stevn. aint. leavn, Ed Herbst and Albert Vogt) now’s the time to get informed. A stylistically inclusive approach—ranging from commercial techno to hip-hop—is crucial pertaining to dynamic of the crew and, pertaining to Cinthie, it’s the classic Chicago house and Detroit techno that will influences the music. A DJ since the age of sixteen, she delivered her first 12-inch at the tender age of 20 and has made good on her early promise with releases for Electric powered Kingdom, Voltage Musique and Ridiculous Spider. This vinyl-only Mix of the afternoon features raw and groove-laden home jams, including slabs of plastic-type by L-Vis 1990, Lazlo Dancehall, New Jack City and a collaboration between Cinthie and fellow BM stalwart Diego.
