Mere times after announcing his destination-style Island associated with Light festival, Pretty Lights took to the internet today in a grassroots advertising effort that went immediately virus-like. Tapping the most loyal few of their devoted fan following, select supporters were shipped posters revealing several brand new tour dates.
For the back of said posters was obviously a message, which read as follows:
Greetings, you have been chosen for a new Pretty Lamps social experiment. This package consists of unreleased “flips” from Euphoria (April 2017), Okeechobee Music & Artistry Festival (March 2017), and Telluride (August 2016). As one of our many devoted fans, we are choosing you to definitely not only spread this music naturally far and wide, but to also share the message that we are returning to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on August 11-12 for the ninth consecutive year. See you soon.
Also included in the parcels were custom-engraved, wooden USB drive filled with unreleased flips from live Pretty Lights sets at Telluride, Okeechobee, and Euphoria.
Fans of course took to social media inside a firestorm to spread the news. So far, Pretty Lights has been confirmed for another return to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, COMPANY on August 11-12, 2017, and Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Isle in Chicago, IL on Aug 18th-19, 2017. One might anticipate more announcements to roll straight into fan’ s mailboxes over the next couple of days, so be sure to stay tuned to learn more as it becomes available.
